I spent more than ten years making sure industrial operations didn't stop because of a safety failure. In 2018 I moved into software engineering and went from developer to Tech Lead to Head. Today I make sure a digital operation doesn't stop at peak. The craft changed; the obsession with reliable operations didn't.
